About the role
Just In Time Landscaping is hiring landscape technicians who care about the work, the team, and the customer. With a small business comes challenges and opportunities — we're looking for people who see the bigger picture, take the lead when called upon, and take pride in a job well done.
Schedule
40 hours per week during peak season (May–October). During off-peak, ZenHome network employment opportunities keep you working with other partner crews — no seasonal layoff.
What you'll do
- Execute hardscaping, planting, and seasonal maintenance jobs alongside the crew
- Operate landscaping machinery as needed to complete the job
- Communicate clearly with the crew and customers on site
- Take the lead when called upon and help keep jobs on schedule
Requirements
- 3+ years of landscaping experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Driver's license required
- DOT physical card preferred
- Comfortable operating different types of machinery
Skills we look for
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Follows verbal and written instructions
- Solves problems on the fly when issues arise
- Hardscaping and landscape design / plant knowledge is a plus
- Strong communication — with the crew and with customers
