Entry Level Carpenter

About the role

Grenier Construction is hiring entry-level carpenters who want to build a real career in the trades. We hire for attitude and train for skill — if you're willing to show up, ask questions, and take pride in your work, we'll teach you the rest.

Schedule

Full-time year-round. 40 hours/week, typical workday 7am–3:30pm. Seasonal overtime available.

What you'll do

• Assist experienced carpenters on residential and light-commercial projects
• Operate hand tools and basic power tools safely under supervision
• Help with framing, trim, finish carpentry, and general jobsite tasks
• Keep the jobsite clean, organized, and safe
• Show up on time, ready to learn

Requirements

• No prior carpentry experience required — willingness to learn is the must-have
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation to job sites across Rhode Island
• Driver's license required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet all day
• Authorized to work in the US
